Riegler & Partner Legends 2022

The iconic Golf Club Murhof, Murhof Gruppe hosted the Riegler & Partner Legends for the third time in 2022.

The Scotsman carded a closing one over par round of 73 to finish on 10 under par, one shot ahead of 11-time Sunshine Tour winner James Kingston on nine under par. Former Ryder Cup player Joakim Haeggman, 1996 BMW International Open winner Marc Farry and 12-time Sunshine Tour winner Adilson Da Silva finished a shot further back in a tie for third place on eight under par.

Golf Club Murhof, Murhof Gruppe

Founded in 1962, Golfclub Murhof has been host of multiple major international golf events in its history. The Austrian Ladies Open was held at Murhof between 1998 and 2000. Later in 2000 it was Swede Carl Pettersson who won the European Amateur Championship with Graeme McDowell and Paul Casey finishing in third and sixth place respectively. In 2001 Markus Brier won on the Challenge Tour for the first time at Murhof. And a young Rory McIlroy finished fourth in the European Young Masters in 2004.
