Markus Brier claimed his first Legends Tour victory at the Farmfoods European Senior Masters hosted by Peter Baker in October 2021.

The Austrian finished as runner-up in his previous two starts at the event before finally winning it in 2021 at the Forest of Arden to register his maiden Legends Tour title.
He would end that year ranked 4th on the Order of Merit having also been runner-up in the Scottish Senior Open along with three other top ten finishes.
He would place 11th on the MCB Road to Mauritius in 2022 with six events where he was in the top ten and a 3rd place during the year.
The Austrian was the first to win on the DP World Tour when he took his home Open at his home club in Vienna in 2006! It was the first time the BA-CA Golf Open had been on the Tour’s schedule in a decade add made a hat-trick for Brier who also won the event in 2002 and 2004 on the Challenge Tour. Went on to win the 2007 Volvo China Open and loves to go skiing when not playing golf.
