The 82nd KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship

After 50, the body, physically, may slow down. But mentally, the golfers at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship are just as keen to win a Championship as when they were in the early part of their careers. That’s why it shouldn’t be a surprise to see a major champion contending this week at Harbor Shores. In all, there are 21 major champions teeing it up this week, led by four-time major winner Ernie Els.

The Course

Harbor Shores has hosted the Kitchen Aid Senior PGA Championship four times previously with great success for Legends Tour players: 2018 – Paul Broadhurst, 2016 – Rocco Mediate, 2014 – Colin Montgomerie and 2012 – Roger Chapman.

2021

In 2021 Alex Cejka won back-to-back on his first two starts in senior major championships. He captured the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club following his victory at the Regions Traditions three weeks prior.
