The US Senior Open heads to the historic Scioto Country Club

Scioto Country Club hosts the 2026 US Senior Open, marking the Ohio venue’s third time staging the championship.

A 1916 Donald Ross design, Scioto is steeped in American golf history, having hosted the 1968 US Amateur — won by Jack Nicklaus, who grew up playing the course — and the 1986 US Senior Open, won by Dale Douglass.

Its tree-lined corridors, fast sloping greens and classic Ross shaping create one of the purest tests in senior major golf. Two-time champion Pádraig Harrington headlines the field as Scioto prepares to deliver another vintage championship week.
