The US Senior Open heads to the historic Scioto Country Club

Scioto Country Club hosts the 2026 US Senior Open, marking the Ohio venue’s third time staging the championship.

A 1916 Donald Ross design, Scioto is steeped in American golf history, having hosted the 1968 US Amateur and the 1986 US Senior Open, both won by Jack Nicklaus—who grew up playing the course.

Its tree-lined corridors, fast sloping greens and classic Ross shaping create one of the purest tests in senior major golf. Two-time champion Pádraig Harrington headlines the field as Scioto prepares to deliver another vintage championship week.
