The Staysure Marbella Legends returns to the stunning Aloha Golf Club in 2026, welcoming back some of the biggest names in senior golf for another year of world-class competition on the Costa del Sol. After a thrilling 2025 season opener, all eyes are on defending champion Simon Griffiths, whose remarkable victory set the tone for a career-defining year.
Griffiths produced a commanding performance to secure the title with a superb -15 total, holding off legends of the game including Colin Montgomerie, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Stephen Gallacher and Scott Hend. Starting the final day with a two-shot lead, he extended his advantage with early birdies at the 1st and 8th before pulling clear on the back nine with further gains at 10, 12 and 15. Even a closing bogey couldn’t dent his momentum as the 51-year-old claimed a memorable win.
As the Legends Tour returns to Marbella in 2026, the spotlight will once again fall on Aloha’s palm-lined fairways—and on Simon Griffiths, ready to defend his crown against a field packed with icons.
