Harrington Clinches Second US Senior Open Title

Padraig Harrington held his nerve on a demanding final day at The Broadmoor, carding a composed 67 to claim his second US Senior Open title.

In a tight head-to-head battle with American favourite Stewart Cink—his playing partner for all four rounds—Harrington delivered when it mattered most. He closed with seven solid pars, finishing 11-under for the tournament, edging Cink by a single stroke.

The decisive moment came on the 18th, where Harrington stuck his approach to within eight feet. With Cink just ahead of him in the fairway and trailing by one, the pressure was firmly on. Harrington’s consistency on the sloping greens ultimately made the difference in a thrilling finale.

Miguel Ángel Jiménez secured third place at 9-under, with Legends Tour regulars Scott Hend and Stephen Gallacher also impressing with top-20 finishes.
