The Staysure Legends Tour headed to Ireland for the OFX Irish Legends. After a calm and high-scoring start to the week, the wind rose on the final day and turned it into a genuine test of resilience.
Carton House sits on a historic parkland estate in County Kildare. Its tree-lined fairways and well-guarded greens reward control, especially when the breeze picks up.
Johan Edfors overturned a three-shot overnight deficit with a sensational bogey-free 66 to claim his maiden Legends Tour title on -17. His round was the only one under 70 on Sunday, and he won by three shots from overnight leader Robert Coles, while first-round leader Emanuele Canonica finished third. It was a week to remember for the Swede, whose partner Anna was on the bag as the couple marked their sixth anniversary. Their birdie celebration quickly became a favourite with the crowds.
