The oldest of the Senior Major Championships, the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship will be held at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Established in 1937, the first two editions of the prestigious Championship were played at Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Tournament. It found a new home from 1942 to 1960 at PGA National Golf Course in Florida and has since rotated through various sites in the intervening years.

Legends Tour members have enjoyed recent success in this event, with five victories since 2012. Roger Chapman made history that year as the first European to win both the Senior PGA Championship and U.S. Senior Open in the same year, a feat emulated by Colin Montgomerie two years later.

The Scotsman, a record eight-time European Number One, then defended his title in 2015 and finished runner-up to Rocco Mediate in 2016.

Bernhard Langer triumphed at Trump National Golf Club, joining Gary Player on nine Senior Major victories before subsequently setting and then breaking the record which currently stands at 11.

Paul Broadhurst stormed to victory in 2018, carding a bogey-free final round 63 and matching the best 72-hole score in tournament history – 265, 19 under par. He then contended again in 2019, but was denied in the final round by American Ken Tanigawa, who will defend his title at Southern Hills.
