Thomas Bjørn is a stalwart of the European Tour and regarded as one of Europe’s greatest ever players and servants.

A 15-time winner on the DP World Tour, 3-time Ryder Cup player, winning Ryder Cup captain, long-serving Tournament Committee Chairman and now twice a winner on the Legends Tour too.
Bjørn won his first Legends Tour title at the Irish Legends presented by the McGinley Foundation in 2021, beating Phillip Price in a play-off and would go on to take victory at the season-ending MCB Tour Championship – Mauritius in 2022.
A big Liverpool FC supporter, Bjørn became the first Dane to play in the Ryder Cup when he made the team in 1997. He also featured for Europe in 2002 and 2014 – winning on all three occasions as a player, before backing that up with a memorable victory as captain in France at Le Golf National in 2018.
Thomas served for many years as the Chairman of the European Tour’s Tournament Committee, he knew a thing or two about winning events too – 15-times a champion on the DP World Tour! His first came at the 1996 Loch Lomond World Invitational and his most recent was the 2013 Nedbank Challenge. His early years saw him claim four titles on the Challenge Tour en route to being top of their rankings in 1995 to get his European Tour card.
