Steen Tinning began playing on the Legends Tour in 2013, a year where he would win twice and finish second in the Order of Merit.

He is known as the Tour’s “Ironman” for his love of endurance challenges to help with his golf fitness.
His breakthrough victory came at the Berenberg Masters, a win which he celebrated by taking part in a half-Ironman championship, and then added another win with the English Senior Open title in the same season.
Tinning played in 376 DP World Tour events but would have to wait until his 14th season before claiming his maiden victory – at the Celtic Manor Resort Wales Open in 2000.
He would notch up his second win just weeks after his 40th birthday in 2002 with the Open de Madrid title.
Enjoyed a successful amateur career before turning pro in 1985.
