Simon Wakefield turned 50 in 2024 and is hoping to make an impact on the Legends Tour.

The Englishman played over 350 times on the DP World Tour, where he was four times a runner-up – missing out on victory in a play-off on two of those occasions.
He has two professional wins, one on the Challenge Tour in 2002 and the other on the Sunshine Tour in 2005.
He turned pro in 1997 having enjoyed an impressive amateur career and is the nephew of former England cricket player Bob Taylor.
