The Australian has three DP World Tour titles to his name, all of which have come on Asian soil – first at the second of the two editions of the Hong Kong Open to be played in the 2014 calendar year, followed by the 2016 True Thailand Classic presented by Chang, a victory which helped him win the Asian Tour Order of Merit. He clinched his third title at the 2019 Maybank Championship, beating Nacho Elvira in a play-off.

Born in Queensland, he turned professional in 1997 and joined the PGA Tour of Australasia, winning the inaugural Norman Von Nida Tour Order of Merit in 2003. Played on a mix of Canadian Tour, PGA Tour and then predominantly Asian Tour over the early parts of his career.

Making his Legends Tour debut in 2023 at the WINSTONgolf Senior Open, Hend would go on to claim his maiden title by one-shot over Phillip Archer & Peter Baker with rounds of 70, 70 & 66.
