A two-time winner on the US PGA Tour, his early claim to fame as a professional came during The 1999 Open Championship at Carnoustie when he became the first player to lead a Major and miss the cut following scores of 71 and 86. However, the Queenslander moved to the United States the following year and broke through in 2004 by winning the INTERNATIONAL in Colorado, following that up with a victory in the 2006 Bay Hill Invitational presented by MasterCard. Earned an exemption until the end of 2010 on The European Tour by winning the 2009 Sportsbet Australian Masters at Huntingdale, beating countryman Marcus Fraser in a play-off. Wife Angela is a clinical psychologist.
