Robert-Jan Derksen is a two-time winner on the DP World Tour who turned 50 at the start of 2024.

In 2025, Derksen has been involved in several senior golf events. For instance, he participated in the inaugural NI Legends Open held at Galgorm Castle in Northern Ireland.
The Dutch player appeared in 394 DP World Tour events, getting a big breakthrough when he won the Dubai Desert Classic in 2003 one shot ahead of Ernie Els. He would claim the Madeira Island Classic two years later for his only other professional victory.
He runs an indoor academy at Nunspeet in his homeland to help players improve their putting.
