In 2024, Richard Green had a stellar senior season, finishing 2nd at the Senior Open presented by Rolex with a score of 280 (−8), 3rd at the U.S. Senior Open with 270 (−10), and 2nd at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship with 270 (−14), consistently contending at the top of major senior events.
The Australian grabbed his first title in only his second start – at the Jersey Legends, where he beat Paul Lawrie in a play-off.
It was a tournament he would successfully defend in 2023, while in between, he claimed the honours at the WINSTONgolf Senior Open.
Richard also has three wins on the DP World Tour in the Dubai Desert Classic, Austrian Open and Portugal Masters.
Represented Australia at the World Cup three times, in 1998, 2008 and 2011.
When not on the golf course he is a motor sport fanatic and races Porsches in his homeland, taking part in the Australian Grand Prix GT Category in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
