Peter Lawrie turned 50 in 2024 and took up his membership on the Legends Tour

The Irishman played more than 400 times on the DP World Tour, winning once and being named Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year in 2013.
Having won on the Challenge Tour and secured his card through the rankings, Peter would wait another five years before getting his breakthrough win on the DP World Tour – the 2008 Open de Espana after a play-off with Ignacio Garrido. He came close to more titles but would be on the wrong end of three more championship play-off’s.
Lawrie retired from the DP World Tour in 2016 to become a club pro at Luttrellstown Castle Golf Club in Dublin.
Since joining the Legends Tour in 2024, Peter Lawrie has participated in several tournaments, finishing 52nd with a score of +6 at the 2025 Staysure Marbella Legends, tied for 29th with a score of +8 at the 2024 Senior Open presented by Rolex, and 57th with a score of +10 at the 2024 Swiss Seniors Open.
