His two victories came in the Travis Perkins Masters at Woburn where he put on an impressive display, before emerging on top in play-off against Miguel Angel Jiménez at the Costa Blanca Benidorm Senior Golf Masters.
Paul has finished in and around the top 30 on the Order of Merit for the past three seasons which included as 3rd placed finish at the Riegler and Partner Legends at the start of the 2023 campaign – just one shot away from making it into a play-off.
Took up golf as a 16-year-old and got his handicap down from 24 to five in his first full year playing the game. He signed semi-professional forms with Lincoln City FC to play football but then decided to concentrate on golf instead, eventually turning pro at the age of 31.
