His only win on the Tour so far came in 2016 in the Scottish Senior Open at Archerfield Links. A self-professed good driver of the ball, Eales recorded two top ten finishes on the Legends Tour in 2023 and was runner-up at the Irish Legends in 2022.
He also registered one win on the DP World Tour with the 1994 Extremadura Open and has two other victories, including the 1991
Audi Open on the Challenge Tour.
