Padraig Harrington is a three-time Major champion and has added a Senior Major title since turning 50.

The Irishman won the US Senior Open in 2022 and has been runner-up in The Senior Open in both 2022 when he was one shot behind Darren Clarke and then 2023 where he lost a play-off with Alex Cejka at Royal Porthcawl.
Harrington made his Major breakthrough in The Open at Carnoustie in 2007, beating Sergio Garcia in a play-off, before successfully defending the Claret Jug at Royal Birkdale in 2008. He added the PGA Championship a month later.
In addition to his Major’s he has 12 other DP World Tour victories and three on the PGA Tour. Padraig featured in the Ryder Cup six times as a player, winning four of those, from 1999 to 2010, he’s been vice-captain three times from 2014 to 2018 and led the European team as captain at Whistling Straits in 2021.
The roll of honour is extensive, Padraig has won the European Order of Merit in 2006, was European Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008, PGA Tour Player of the Year in 2008 and the PGA Tour Champions Rookie of the Year in 2022! He played in the World Cup of Golf for Ireland 11 times including winning it in 1997.
Harrington has now also been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2024.
