Mike Reynard made his name as a top amateur in the late-90s representing England over 30 times in various competitions and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Justin Rose, Paul Casey and Luke Donald.

His family moved to Cornwall where he worked as a chef at his own pub and restaurants but in 2019 Reynard was given one of the three invites for the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship at Trevose, making what was only his second European Senior Tour appearance. He returned in 2021 with a top 20 finish. Reynard was also runner up in The R&A Amateur Championship to Gordon Sherry in 1995.
