He carded rounds of 72, 68 and then a new course-record 65 in the final round to finish the week at Apes Hill on -8, just two back from the leaders.
He would go on to also finish T3rd in the Costa Navarino Legends Tour Trophy after rounds of 61, 69 and 73 in Greece.
Michael played his rookie season on the Legends Tour in 2023 and finished 3rd in the Farmfoods European Senior Masters at La Manga in Spain.
The Swede is a three-time winner on the DP World Tour having claimed the Russian Open in 2005 and 2008, while his most recent victory came at the 2014 Lyoness Open in Austria.
He has also won three times on the Challenge Tour.
