Miguel Ángel Jiménez is a 21-time European Tour champion, he became the oldest winner in European Tour history in 2014 aged 50 years and 133 days after his victory at the Open de España

In 2018 he secured two senior Major titles within three months – the Regions Tradition in the United States followed by a memorable win on the Old Course at St Andrews in The Senior Open Presented by Rolex.

One of seven brothers, Jiménez took up golf as a 15-year-old whilst picking up balls at the range and caddying.
Inspired by watching the likes of Seve Ballesteros, Sandy Lyle and Sam Torrance when he was caddying at the 1979 Spanish Open, he decided to take up the game seriously.
Nicknamed ‘the Mechanic’ for his preference for driving, rather than repairing, high performance vehicles.
