Michael has impressed in his first two seasons on the Legends Tour – coming close to a victory in each of them.

The Swede ended his maiden campaign in 2022 placed 12th on the Order of Merit having shown some consistent performances and being runner-up at the Farmfoods European Senior Masters after losing a play-off with Paul Lawrie. He would improve season-on-season by ending 2023 ranked 7th on the Order of Merit. Once again he would go close to victory, finishing second at the WCM Legends Open de France behind Adilson da Silva. A 4th place at The Senior Open and two more top ten finishes made for an impressive season.
Michael rates his ball flight, iron play and distance control as the strengths of his game.
He was twice a winner on the DP World Tour claiming the 1997 Portuguese Open and the 2009 Castello Masters – he also won twice on the Challenge Tour.
