Turned professional at 22 and played for three seasons on the DP World Tour before returning to his home club in Bologna to become a teaching professional.

Mauro Bianco grew up surrounded by golf as his father was a coach by trade and had a promising amateur career, representing his country as a junior. Mauro earned a conditional card for the 2015 European Tour season at the Qualifying School, finishing in seventh position at Pestana Resort’s Vale da Pinta. He played for three seasons on the DP World Tour before returning to his home club in Bologna to become a teaching professional and remains playing some competitive golf in Italy. He won the Italian PGA Senior Order of Merit in 2013.
