On turning 50 he elected to play predominantly in the USA but has featured on the Legends tour since 2017. He’s never won on the Legends Tour but has finished as a runner-up three times, including a lost play-off against Loren Roberts in the 2009 Senior Open at Sunningdale.
He began his career in South Africa on the Sunshine Tour before joining the European circuit in 1978, finishing in the
top ten of the Order of Merit six times, playing 377 events and winning 16 of them.
Mark was listed in the top ten of the Official World Golf Rankings for 83 weeks between 1987 and 1992.
