Johan Edfors has taken the Staysure Legends Tour by storm this season, winning twice in 2026 after making his Legends Tour debut at the Senior Italian Open in October 2025.
He claimed his maiden title at the OFX Irish Legends, winning by three shots at Carton House, before adding the European Legends Cup by SR Nexus, where a closing 64 and eight birdies turned a four-shot deficit into victory.
A three-time DP
World Tour winner, Edfors enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough year in 2006, earning his card at Qualifying School the year before and then winning the TCL Classic, Quinn Direct British Masters and Barclays Scottish Open, which took him into the world’s top 50.
Former member of both the Swedish National and University of Texas at San Antonio golf teams, he also had the potential to play professional tennis.
He caught the eye for reasons other than his golf at the 2016 Swedish Challenge hosted by Robert Karlsson, where he removed his trousers to play a shot from the water, much to the delight of the home crowd.
