In 2025, Gustavo Acosta continued to show strong form, notably securing 5th place at the esteemed Campeonato Abierto de Seniors held at Río Cuarto Golf Club.
In 2024, he would end his rookie season placed 42nd on the Road to Mauritius rankings, having played in 13 events.
Acosta made it onto the Legends Tour from the start of 2023 as a Q-school graduate taking the 5th and final spot in Belek, Turkey after shooting 74, 70, 69 and 68. He cites his iron play as the strongest part of his game and played the majority of his career in South America: 79 events on the PGA Tour Latino America including a second place at the 2014 Personal Classic, one of four top 5 finishes.
He was also a runner-up on the Challenge Tour at the 2007 Kai Fieberg Costa Rica Open.
