He took the titles at the 2010 PGA Seniors Championship and then the French Riviera Masters two years later. He also won the 2012 Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship.
More than 200 events on the Legends Tour and a total of 466 on the DP World Tour, where he also won twice.
Retired from that Tour in 1996 to become a Club Pro, then in 2001 he set up Archerfield Links in East Lothian to focus on his golf course design project.
Was part of Ian Woosnam’s support team as a vice-captain at the 2006 Ryder Cup.
