Dan started his love for gold at an early age, starting his first job at the nine-hole course across the street from his childhood home in Michigan.

Dan began golfing at an early age when he took a job at a nine-hole course across the street from his childhood home in East Lansing, Michigan, and earned his Exempt Status on the PGA Tour for the 2004 Season.
Before earning his PGA Tour exempt status, Dan competed mainly on the Hooter Tour in which he entered 12 events and made the cut in every event, experiencing four top-10 finishes along the way.

What is it like for an amateur?

The Legends Tour really has some great things going for it - The players out here on this tour are really accessible, I enjoy learning from them and now I'm puring it, and it's because I'm out here with these great talents in the game of golf.
