Having turned professional in 1993, Christian Cévaër secured his first victory on the European Tour at the 2004 Open de España.

He won his second title in 2009 at the European Open at London Golf Club, having defeated a strong field containing 25 of the world’s top 50. Born on the island of New Caledonia, he became world junior champion at 17 and took a scholarship at Stanford University in California, the same as Tom Watson and Tiger Woods.
