Catrina Nilsmark, bron August 1967 in Sweden turned professional in 1987 and captured her maiden LET victory at the 1994 Ford Golf Classic at Wolburn Golf & Country Club by four shots over Trish Johnson and would qualify for the LPGA Tour through final qualifying in 1994.
Her second victory on the LET came at the Evian Master in 1999 beating Laura Davies by two-shots.
Nilsmark would also represent Team Europe at the Solheim Cup on 5 occasions (1992, 1994, 1996, 1998 and 2000) famously sinking the winning putt at as a rookie in 1992 to mark Europes first victory against the United States. She would also go on to captain the European side on two occasions, to victory in 2003 in her home nation of Sweden and sadly loosing in 2005 on US soil.
