The rookie class of 2024 will include Rafael Jacquelin, David Lynn, Peter Lawrie and Brian Davis.

Some will have limited opportunities in their rookie season, depending on when their birthday falls – and there’s a tough act to follow with the performance of some of the class of 2023. Here’s how three of the Legends Tour new arrivals fared last year.

Bradley Dredge took the Legends Tour Trophy title at Hanbury Manor to add to his two DP World Tour victories and two more on the Challenge Tour.

Dredge finished 11th on the MCB Road to Mauritius rankings in 2023, despite only playing in six events, a mark of how well he performed on the over 50’s Tour.

Scott Hend won his very first event on the Legends Tour, the WINSTONgolf Senior Open!

His second event almost saw him win again, finishing runner-up at the Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam.

Patrik Sjoland played his rookie season on the Legends Tour in 2023 and registered his first victory, taking the title at La Manga in the Farmfoods European Senior Masters hosted by Peter Baker.

He was 4th in the Irish Legends event and finished as runner-up in the season finale at the MCB Tour Championship which helped him to end the year placed 5th in the Road to Mauritius rankings and he was also named the 2023 Barry Lane Rookie of the Year.
