Entries are now open for the 2027 Staysure Legends Tour Qualifying School, with Gloria Golf Resort in Belek, Turkey, set to welcome aspiring senior professionals and amateurs with a Handicap Index of not more than 1.4 at date of entry, for the opportunity to secure playing rights on one of golf’s leading international senior circuits.

Taking place on 16-19 January, 2027, and with four full playing rights places available, Qualifying School represents a significant opportunity for golfers aged 50 and over to begin a new chapter in their professional careers – competing alongside Major champions, Ryder Cup legends and established Tour winners.

The Tour continues to bring together some of golf’s most recognisable names, including Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood, Thomas Bjørn, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Colin Montgomerie, Ian Woosnam, José María Olazábal, Paul Lawrie and Michael Campbell, alongside an emerging generation of players making their mark in the over-50s game.

The opportunity to qualify for 2027 follows another exciting season for the Staysure Legends Tour, with its 2026 global schedule featuring 18 events, including three Senior Majors, and a combined prize fund of approximately €20 million.

With the 2027 global schedule set to be announced shortly, the qualifying process offers the next wave of senior professionals the chance to compete on the international stage.

2027 QUALIFYING SCHOOL FORMAT

The 2027 Staysure Legends Tour Qualifying School will take place at Gloria Golf Resort in Belek, Turkey, from Saturday 16 – Tuesday 19 January 2027.

The competition will follow a single-stage, four-round format, with the opening two rounds played across Gloria Golf Resort’s Old and New Courses, accommodating up to 84 players on each course per day.

Following 36 holes, the field will be reduced to the top 72 players and ties, with a further cut after the third round to those within ten shots of fourth place.

The top four finishers after 72 holes will earn Category 8 membership for the 2027 Staysure Legends Tour season, providing exemption into all regular Tour events with 60-player fields.

Should a player from the top four not take up their place in a tournament, it will pass to the highest-ranked player in Category 11, comprising those who finish outside the top four at Qualifying School, having completed the final round.
