Taking place between 22nd – 24th August, the English Legends hosted by Roger Chapman will see professional golf return to the prestigious Brocket Hall Estate in Hertfordshire, with Ryder Cup captains and players, Major champions and Tour winners teeing it up as part of a packed summer of British and Irish events on the Legends Tour.
Taking place two weeks after the flagship Staysure PGA Seniors Championship, the tournament will be hosted by two-time senior Major-winner, Roger Chapman, who will be playing the final event of a stellar career that has spanned almost 50 years. He will be joined by a number of the biggest names in seniors golf, with the likes of Ian Woosnam, Michael Campbell and Paul Lawrie scheduled to play in August.
Set in a 500-acre country estate, Brocket Hall is one of the country’s best golf facilities with two spectacular courses, a world-class practice and short-game facility, luxurious manor-house accommodation that has housed Prime Ministers and Royalty and a superb AA-rosette restaurant.
“We are very proud to be hosting the inaugural English Legends hosted by Roger Chapman later this year” said Lee Williams, General Manager of Brocket Hall Estate. “Our two iconic brands – Brocket Hall Estate and the Legends Tour – perfectly complement each other and I’m sure our Top100-ranked courses will provide a strong challenge for the players while the resort delivers world-class hospitality to all those competing and attending. The tournament will be one of the largest sporting events in Hertfordshire in 2025 and will also help us to support the growth and development of golf within our community.”
Legends Tour CEO, Phil Harrison added: “We are delighted to be bringing major international golf back to England once again this summer. Brocket Hall Estate is fabulous golfing facility that will no doubt prove a fitting stage for the English Legends. It promises to be a superb week of golf and I’d encourage people in the South-East of England to come down and enjoy a tournament format like no other.”

PLAY ALONGSIDE THE LEGENDS
The Legends Experience is a truly unique offering for amateur golfers, with guests experiencing the life of a Tour player over three nights and four unforgettable days at Brocket Hall. A professional caddie will be on hand throughout, helping players to navigate the testing Palmerston layout.
Away from the course it’s luxury all the way for the Legends Experience customers with VIP all-inclusive accommodation in the newly-refurbished Brocket Hall mansion house – with a dedicated butler for the duration of the week – and full access to the players’ lounge and locker room. Fine dining awaits at the prestigious Auberge du Lac restaurant, as well as an exclusive Ryder Cup-themed evening with former captains and players reflecting on their experiences in golf’s most iconic matchplay event.
