With a best of the day, bogey-free six-under-par, 66, Peter Baker will to take a four-shot lead after a weather interrupted Round Two at the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship from Trump International Golf Link, Scotland.

“The weather was kind to us this morning, very little wind and gave myself a lot of chances and all part of my game was good, and I’m delighted with the score.”

“It’s a great course and a tough set up.” He said “I’m just trying to conserve energy and rest up. We are halfway there and a long way to go.”

“I kept it tight and some good iron shots. I had a nice little spell around 11, 12 and 13 with some great iron shots in and holes the putts – just trying to keep it going for the rest of the week.”

Play was suspended during the afternoon session for approximately 45 minutes due to dangerous weather in the area. Greg Owen would capitalise on the softer conditions to close out his round with four birdies in his last seven holes to card a two-under-par, 70 and take solo second place at five-under-par.

Alongside him sits 2005 US Open champion, Michael Campbell after carding a one-under-par, 71. Scotsman, Andrew Oldcorn completed the group tied for third after a second consecutive round of 70.
