The Legends Tour welcomed a new event to the calendar as the inaugural Portugal Legends Championship came to Pinheirinho, on the Alentejo coast south of Lisbon.
The course is framed by the pine forests of Comporta. It pairs generous fairways with testing par threes and a demanding back nine that finishes over water at the 18th.
Jean Hugo stole the show with a bogey-free, course-record 62 to win by six at -20, his second victory in three events. Greg Owen took second at -14, ahead of Johan Edfors (-13), Andrew Marshall (-12) and overnight leader Paul Lawrie, who tied for fifth at -11.
