Michael Campbell has been playing on the Legends Tour since 2019, when he returned to the game after a seven-year break.

On the Legends Tour in 2025, Michael Campbell tied for 14th at the Costa Navarino Legends Tour Trophy and finished 34th at the Reignwood Legends Championship. Earlier in his senior career, he was runner-up at the 2019 Staysure PGA Seniors Championship and posted two third-place finishes in 2023.
Best known as the 2005 U.S. Open champion at Pinehurst No. 2, Campbell qualified through Walton Heath and famously held off Tiger Woods to win by two shots, becoming the first New Zealander since Bob Charles in 1963 to win a Major. Later that year, he also captured the World Match Play Championship and was named European Tour Player of the Year.
Affectionately known as “Cambo,” he is a proud Maori with Scottish ancestry, and he founded the Michael Campbell Foundation to inspire and support disadvantaged young people.
